So, long back I raised https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/5492 and got a comment that it is better to handle this in a separate project (was also discussed this in the previous Iceberg sync). So, As a side project I am working on it (https://github.com/ajantha-bhat/iceberg-catalog-migrator/blob/first/README.md).
