Oleg Zinoviev commented on IGNITE-24498:
----------------------------------------
In the provided example, the tables are configured with the
{{IgniteDistribution.any()}} distribution.
As a result, {{IgniteMdCumulativeCost}} returns an infinite cost
({{{}org/apache/ignite/internal/processors/query/calcite/metadata/IgniteMdCumulativeCost.java:109{}}}),
which prevents the planner from generating a query plan.
After changing the distribution to {{{}IgniteDistribution.random(){}}}, the
plan is built successfully.
It’s likely that the issue with multiple joins has already been resolved in a
different ticket.
[~timonin.maksim], it seems this issue can be closed, as the current behavior
is due to the reproduction code rather than a product bug.
