h3. Motivation
The savepoint API is currently supported for pessimistic transactions, but in
some cases we are using an optimistic one. It would be nice to have a support
savepoint for optimistic transactions too.
h3. Definition of done
Savepoints are supported for all accessories (JDB, SQL, and KV) no matter which
isolation level is used.
Also, the documentation has to be fixed as well.
