MMAP mode has a bunch of problems (see for example
http://www.mapdb.org/blog/mmap_files_alloc_and_jvm_crash/ )
Users are increasingly stumbling over these issues especially in virtualized
environments.
MMAP should be disabled by default because it require additional care from user
stand point.
