Konstantin Boudnik commented on IGNITE-1203:
--------------------------------------------

bq. So quite frankly, I don't understand when you say that there is no use
case. In fact, I don't think you can ever say that about any technology or
framework; if it exists, there likely is a use case.

That looks like a self-fulfilling situation, but I don't like to split the hair
on this ;)

bq. There is no hidden agenda or personal interest of any kind, if that's what
you actually meant.

Oh no, why would you say this? Arguably though, everything we do in OSS comes
from a personal interest, given that we are volunteering our time to these
things. So, there's nothing wrong with personal interest, of course.

> From their site:
> bq. ZooKeeper is a centralised service for maintaining configuration
> information, naming, providing distributed synchronisation, and providing
> group services.
> It is used by Kafka, Hadoop Yarn, HBase and many other technologies as a
> distributed service registry and discovery directory.
> It would be nice to support cluster discovery via ZK.
