Fix Version/s: Impala 2.8.0
There is wording to that effect already:

Information about the number of rows affected by a DML operation is
reported in
<cmdname>impala-shell</cmdname> output, and in the
<codeph>PROFILE</codeph> output, but
is not currently reported to HiveServer2 clients such as JDBC or ODBC
applications.{code}
An additional warning was added in impala_jdbc.xml for Impala 2.11.
