We've seen cases where HS2 client sessions don't expire even after child
queries have moved to waiting to close state for many hours. An extreme case
was a query in waiting to close state for more than 15 hours. Something was
keeping the session active, but no trace exists in impala logs as to how this
might be happening.
It would be good to have better logging in the client sessions state management
area to help analysis of such issues easier.
