It looks like going up to 2GB solved the issue. The heap usage stopped growing before reaching 2GB and the pattern of continued increase of usage no longer happens, which is what had me worried in the first place. So at this point it just looks like a slight increase in memory usage tipped it over the earlier 1GB heap limit. I'm still a bit curious why the increase of memory usage coincided with the deployment of 5.5.0, but it doesn't seem to be an issue per se. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
