Achim,
If you are using Jconsole on the same machine as karaf, jconsole gives you the
option of connecting to karaf automatically from a drop-down menu. I agree
that we need to describe the URI for connecting via JMX because using Jconsole
to figure it out is a bit of a work-around. Also, I agree with your statement
that we need to know how to use JMX in a Karaf context. Pls let me know if I
can help.
