There's an old dependabot issue (https://github.com/dependabot/dependabot-core/issues/9683), which basically says that dependabot/maven breaks for _directories_ with names that end in `.xml`. That seems to be the case here as well, as Karaf's directory `specs/java.xml` matches that pattern (and that name's included in the error messages). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
