You have to click "wildly" through the options to reproduce the effect: for example: Tool/Options fresh opened window: -OpenOffice.org User Data General Memory Views ... and after clicking, scrolling: -OpenOffice.org |User Data| General |Memory| |Views| ... Here the point "General" has got no lines. The same happens if you scroll through with the curser keys up and down. These lines will vanish as soon as the window does a "repaint".
