Besides there were open issues with the gtk plugin on KDE, e.g. the toolbar buttons would not be highlighted. Therefore i'd rather you didn't commit this. If someone wants to have the gtk plugin on KDE he can force it by setting SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN to gtk; which if done in the start script <officeinstallation>/program/soffice is not much of a hassle IMHO.
