With https://gerrit.cloudera.org/#/c/22713/, we will now have periodic
monitoring of C++ test coverage.
To complement this, it would be valuable to document how contributors can run
coverage locally for a specific subset of tests, rather than the entire
codebase — which is often time-consuming.
The goal is to provide a clear set of commands that developers can use to:
• Run coverage collection for selected tests
• Validate changes intended to improve coverage
This will streamline the workflow for coverage-driven contributions.
