Hey [~andrewstevenson],
So you're thinking that any table created outside of Impala (it could also be
done via the C++ client) should be optionally made available in Impala without
requiring the creation of an external table? I believe that the plan here is
that Impala could use Kudu's master as a metadata store and just have access to
all its tables without doing anything special. That's an Impala change though,
not a Kudu one.
