Fixed by replacing shell command construction with argument-list execution,
passing HADOOP_CONF_DIR through the process environment, and preserving Spark
configuration values as literal arguments. Remote execution now shell-quotes
each argument. Added regression coverage for metacharacters in arguments,
configuration values, jars, and files; all focused tests pass.
