Shaofeng SHI commented on KYLIN-978:
------------------------------------

[~sunyerui] It seems it still didn't add the intermediate hive table's external
location to the "toDeletePathsOnHadoopCluster"; This can be done once the cube
segment be built (the "cuboids" files need be left for future merge); The
location can be get from JoinedFlatTable.generateCreateTableStatement(), you
can encapsulate that to another public method. Just let me know if I'm wrong.
Thanks for your contribution!

> In GarbageCollectionStep, the hive intermediate table created in step 1 was
> dropped.
> As the table is external table, data was stored in a external hdfs path, like
> '.../kylin-$\{jobId\}/kylin_intermediate_...', which didn't deleted when drop
> hive table.
> Considering the purpose of GarbageCollectionStep, the external data path
> should also be deleted.
