Finally got some time to test on HBase 1.1 and HDP 2.3.
All unit tests and integration tests pass, EXCEPT FOR certain query test. The
root cause being a bug in HBase 1.1.1

It is fixed in HBase 1.1.3 and above. So you definitely want that version or
above to use Kylin.
