Let's remove the `dunno y` check in `TestMatchesIterator` given that we know
why now :)
I think I'd break the highlighter test changes out into an entirely new test,
rather than combining Interval queries with other query types - in particular,
using randomization to cover everything means that we don't test all queries on
every run, which makes for frustrating debugging in future when tests all pass
locally and then fail when you commit because they're testing different query
types.
