[~tankilo] There is no direct relationship between the m-pmd-p version and its
referenced PMD version.
The used version of PMD is however mentioned on the
[index.html|https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-pmd-plugin/index.html] page.
For the current version 3.8 of m-pmd-p, PMD 5.6.1 is used.
There is also the possibility, to upgrade the PMD version at runtime, see
MPMD-239
For the older version, you can look up the archived documentations under
http://maven.apache.org/plugins-archives/, e.g. [m-pmd-p
3.7|http://maven.apache.org/plugins-archives/maven-pmd-plugin-3.7/] used PMD
5.5.1.
What exactly is your use case?
