To me this looks effectively the same as using
[maven-shade-plugin|https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-shade-plugin] with
the
[minimizeJar|https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-shade-plugin/shade-mojo.html#minimizeJar]
set to {{true}}
