Environment: Tried it on debian etch, windows2003 and windows xp.
Maven version: 2.0.4

mvn site -Dproject.reporting.outputDirectory=/tmp and mvn site
-Dproject.reporting.outputDirectory=d:/tmp builds sucessfully, but nothing is
written to /tmp. The site is instead output to the default /target/site. The
output states "Build sucessfully".
When editing the configuration for the site-plugin in pom.xml it works just
fine.
