Maven dependency tree is an additional layer of indirection to allow support
for Maven 2, Maven 3.0.x and Maven 3.1.x in the same plugin. At this point, we
should simply drop it and use Maven 3.1.x and maven-resolver
(org.eclipse.aether) directly.
