Sylwester Lachiewicz commented on MNG-7169:
-------------------------------------------

Please also add information about environment, operating system and information
if Maven was installed from our binary or from os distribution (output of `mvn
-v` would be helpful)

> Update Guice dependency to 5.0.1

> Thank you for your work!
> I hope this is the correct issue tracker:
> With maven 3.8.1, I got a warning:
> {code}
> WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred
> WARNING: Illegal reflective access by
> com.google.inject.internal.cglib.core.$ReflectUtils$1
> (file:/usr/share/maven/lib/guice.jar) to method
> java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(java.lang.String,byte[],int,int,java.security.ProtectionDomain)
> WARNING: Please consider reporting this to the maintainers of
> com.google.inject.internal.cglib.core.$ReflectUtils$1
> WARNING: Use --illegal-access=warn to enable warnings of further illegal
> reflective access operations
> WARNING: All illegal access operations will be denied in a future release
> {code}
> Aparently, maven-core has a guice-4.2.1 compile dependency. Please consider
> updating to 5.0.1 which should solve the `illegal access` issue.
