I think it doesn't help to complain about Java or ask it to be reverted only
for a Major release (what just will push the problem for some time).
So I think
# There is some demand from different consumers to do so and obviously there is
no alternative
# Instead of arguing if it is valid or not, it would be good to add something
for it e.g. to the AttachedArtifactHelper class
