Ok so guess we should: 1. merge this PR to not encourage people to use slf4j since we agreed it was wrong a long time ago now 2. encourage to move to maven 4 when possible (until then keep the old bridge solution plugins were using) 3. probably document (enhance if needed) the classloading tuning to enable plugins to inherit or not from slf4j (think we discussed that)? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
