Note, that the following snippet makes wrong assumptions:
```
if ( settings.isUseCygwinPath() )
{
workingDir = "/cygdrive/" + workingDir;
workingDir = StringUtils.replace( workingDir, ":", "" );
workingDir = StringUtils.replace( workingDir, "\\", "/" );
}
```
"/cygdrive" may not exist at all. The cygdrive prefix can be set to
anything. See for example on my system:
```
$ mount --show-cygdrive-prefix
Prefix Type Flags
/mnt system binmode
```
Cygwin users set this also often to "/dev" or even "/" (although not
recommended). The cygdrive prefix is currently stored in Windows registry only,
so you will have to retrieve it calling an external utility.
