This is due to bug - CONTINUUM-1402.
Work around: Create a duplicate client using the auto-generated as a template.
p4 -d <work-dir> client -t 'auto-generated-p4-client'
auto-generated-p4-client
Note: You can get the auto-generated p4 client by setting scm debug level to
'debug' for in <install-dir>/apps/continuum/webapp/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.xml
