URL: https://github.com/apache/maven-scm/pull/1407

   ## Description

Fixes #1378. Git `info` now detects shallow repositories before reading file
metadata and emits a warning that the reported last-change date may not
identify the file’s actual last change.

   ## Changes

   - Run `git rev-parse --is-shallow-repository` before the Git info query.
   - Warn only when Git confirms the repository is shallow.
   - Add focused coverage for parsing the Git response.

   ## Tests

   - `git diff --check` (PASS)
   - `mvn -pl
maven-scm-providers/maven-scm-providers-git/maven-scm-provider-gitexe
-Dtest=GitInfoCommandTest test` (NOT RUN: Maven cannot start because the
available Java runtime is an incompatible x86_64 Java 8 Applet Plugin on Apple
Silicon.)

   ## Notes

   - No overlapping open PR was found for #1378 or the shallow-repository
warning behavior.
   - The commit is DCO signed off and cryptographically signed with the
configured SSH key.
   - AI assistance was used; the submitting human is responsible for reviewing
and understanding every changed line.
