I've juste tested right now and I still have an empty
mvn-eclipse-cache.properties. I mean, it doesn't contain any entry but the
following header :
#Temporary index for unavailable sources and javadocs
#Mon Feb 18 09:30:45 CET 2008
As the file is created then written, it's not a problem of read/write access.
