Samples that present an old Maven as the current one now show current
versions: *Maven in 5 Minutes*' `mvn --version` output (3.6.3 on Windows, now
the output of 3.10.0), its compiler example (maven-compiler-plugin 3.8.1 for
Java 11, now 3.16.0 for Java 17, and the text says that recent Maven versions
already default to a recent compiler plugin), the plugin development guides'
`maven-plugin-api`/`maven-core` (3.9.9 and 3.9.11, now 3.9.16), the POM
reference's `maven-embedder` exclusion example (3.8.6, now 3.10.0) and the
repository layout examples (3.8.4, now 3.10.0).
Statements about when something was introduced ("since Maven 3.3.1"), the
release history, the security advisories and the migration guide's `versions`
output stay as they are.
Verified: the default compiler plugin is 3.15.0 on Maven 3.9.16 and 3.16.0
on 3.10.0; the five-minutes POM snippet builds and tests the quickstart project
on both; `apache-maven-3.10.0-bin.tar.gz` and `maven-embedder` 3.10.0 exist on
Central; `mvn site` with Fluido 2.1.0 → no URL or content anchor lost.
