`date` is not a registered `<meta>` name in HTML; `dcterms.date` is, through the WHATWG MetaExtensions list. apache/maven-doxia#1107 makes the Doxia XHTML5 sink write `dcterms.date`, and this changes the skin's own head the same way, so site pages and standalone Doxia output agree. Sites or tools that read `<meta name="date">` from the rendered pages need to read `dcterms.date` instead. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
