When I am using the latest version of this plugin, everything is working ok,
mvn org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.0-alpha-3:generate
also when I removed the maven-archetype-plugin from my local repo and relaunch
the mvn archetype:generate, maven download the latest version of
maven-archetype-plugin and once again, everything is ok.
I think, the case can be closed.
