option to clean the outputDirectory

Every time I have to clean the outputDirectory manually before launching the
assembly goal, otherwise multiple versions of snapshots and versions remain in
the same directory.
It would be nice if there would be a configuration option like
outputDirectory.clean valued true/false defaulted to false (for keeping the
current behavior)
According to this parameter the mojo would clean the outputDirectory first
before deploying the assembled artifacts.
