This is really a show-stopper for me. No workaround can be used for this issue.
I tried different versions (2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3) of the resource plugin and all
fail to interpolate the ${settings.localRepository}, ${maven.repo.local},
${localRepository} variables...
