I'm reopening this issue since the synchronization emails I've been getting
indicate that it's never worked. I look at a number of different ways, and I'm
not sure what the issue is. Would it be possible to send the command you use
so that I can test against that specific command?
I generated a keypair called mvntest from a remote machine and appended that
key to the /home/rync/.ssh/authorized_keys file on the bushe.com server. I can
then remotely log in without a password:
[r...@remotemachine .ssh]# ssh -l rsync -i mvntest bushe.com
Last login: Wed Jul 22 11:40:31 2009 from foo.bar.net

Rsync also works:
[r...@remotemachine .ssh]# rsync -av --rsh="ssh -l rsync -i mvntest"

wget'ed the public key http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/id_dsa.pub and then diff'ed
that with authroized_keys and the only difference I got was that my new mvntest
was appended as well, so that looks good to me.
Any ideas? Again, maybe there's something in the rsync command, if you can
send it along, I can refine my test.
