but I don't understand the proposal: "simply use the child's breadcrumbs
wholesale whenever they are a prefix to the parents"
so the child could only go back to an existing breadcrumb, but not add its own
item?
Pehaps we should remove remaining breadcrumbs entries when one existing
breadcrumb is in the child, then continue
this would permit to remove some trailing items from parent, while still adding
new ones for child
