Børre Dalhaug commented on SCM-723:
-----------------------------------
Update: I moved the working directory to the root (C:\) - that fixed my problem.
So Robert was right - it had to do with the length of the command - or at least
the path. The command printed out by the logger is not the actual command, but
rather pseudo code or info.
So this is not a blocker anymore, but it would be a huge advantage if this
problem - if it is a OS issue - could be detected and a how to could be
displayed to the user.
> On windows mvn release:prepare fails trying commit changed pom.xml files.

> The commit includes a commit message, but the double quotes (") is not
> escaped so the command fails. On Mac (and Linux?) the commit message is in
> single quotes (') so that works.
