While working on these docs, I was attempting to use the profiler, which
requires configuring the build with {{--enable-profiler}}. However, I'm getting
compiler errors when I try to compile after doing that on either OSX or Ubuntu,
and I don't see much in the JIRA relating to the profiler and perftools, and
{{../configure --help}} gives no information on that flag. What's the current
status of the profiler?
