James Sirota commented on METRON-105: ------------------------------------- Hi John, Metron is built on Cisco's OpenSOC, which has already been in the market for 3 years. So the concept is quite mature and it won't be a fast fail. Metron PPMC is very diverse, containing data architects as well as security practitioners. I myself am an CISSP-ISSAP and have over 15 years of security-related experience. About half of our PPMC members come from the security space. Our intent is to make the system easy to use, but we are still very early. We only produced our first Apache build last week. Security analytics tools built on big data platform is the future and Metron is at the forefront of this evolution. To work on Metron you don't need to be an expert in big data, but you have to understand the fundamentals. But the community is very welcoming and we will help you get started should you choose to contribute. Also, if you have ideas or feedback we would love to hear those as well The system is quite modular. The architecture is described here: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/METRON/Metron+Architecture Please let us know if you have any more questions Thanks, James > Define architecture for multi tenancy > -------------------------------------- > > Key: METRON-105 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/METRON-105 > Project: Metron > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: James Sirota > > Work with the Metron community to define the architecture for multitenancy -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
