    Yes, it seems almost impossible on a VM.
    I'm not in favor of including ifconfig output.  It doesn't tell you 
anything about bandwidth, and it produces a lot of info that I think is of 
negligible value for the purposes of this work item.
    I'd say you've got enough here, and should proceed with review process.
