Sphinx's theme that is being used for the site typically has left and right
sidebars.
The right sidebar would be anchors. The left would be links to other topics.
It seems like looking through the commit history that the goal of this code was
to move the content of the right sidebar and combine it with the left.
This process happens after document.ready, which seems to break bootstrap's
understanding of the layout.
