@exceptionfactory Note that even though it was deprecated, it was still being used as only solution for state storage. There was no way to select any other option to store the state information. It would have been great if the default state storage configuration was changed in NiFi 1.6.0, delivering an easy migration. I'm just repeating this, because I have the feeling that you think there was a choice between both, which there was not. There was a migration foreseen for other places where this WriteAheadLog was used, but not for the LocalStateProvider -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
