The fix is trivial, and does not affect any of the legacy behavior. Before, this property had no effect, unless the user configured SPNEGO too. I agree on the similar behavior. I'm curious as to what prompted revisiting this issue for NiFi Registry, is this something you observed as a problem while running without SPNEGO?
