Based on the description in NIP-19, a new Record Gauge method should be added
to the {{ProcessSession}} method, enabling Processors to record a provided
value for a named Gauge.
The default implementation should be empty, allowing the framework to be
upgraded to a new released version of the NiFi API without having to
simultaneously implement the new method.
