NiFi 2 introduced a redesigned implementation of the bootstrap process that
eliminated use of historical socket communication strategies. The
{{nifi-framework-api}} includes the BootstrapCommunicator interface and related
components that are now specific to MiNiFi and not used elsewhere in the NiFi
framework. For this reason, these components should be moved from the
{{nifi-framework-api}} to appropriate MiNiFi modules.
