Multiple Connector REST API operations reference different types of components
during the update process. Most of these components fall under the Connector
itself, making the Connector the applicable element for authorization. Other
references, such as Assets and Secrets supplied through Parameter Providers
should follow standardized authorization handling. This authorization strategy
is subject to change in the future based on potential restructuring for
framework authorization in general, but for now, Connector referenced values
should follow applicable patterns.
