Two points I would like your call on:
- The MERGE target carries the HOLDLOCK serializable hint. SQL Server
evaluates the match without an exclusive lock, so concurrent sessions can
both reach WHEN NOT MATCHED for the same key. Happy to drop it if you would
rather keep this consistent with the existing adapters.
- The commit message notes three places where the generated SQL differs from
the legacy MSSQLDatabaseAdapter, each an intentional correction. Let me
know
if you would prefer the adapter be handled under a separate Jira.
