Github user mattyb149 commented on the issue: https://github.com/apache/nifi/pull/1976 The code changes look good; I have a question in general about expected behavior when the database doesn't explicitly support boolean types (such as Oracle SQL). Let's say I have a JSON object `{"id": 1, "b": true}` and a table with column "id" of type INT and "b" of type NUMBER(1). Do we need to support this case, or if the target doesn't have a BOOLEAN type, should the onus be on the flow designer to change the values accordingly (such as with JoltTransformJSON)? Also should we include BIT and/or other numeric types in the switch statement?
