Cleared the cache, and it didn't change anything. However, all three of the
s2s tasks I tried (metrics, bulletin and provenance) seemed to work just fine
when reporting to a second instance of NiFi. So as far as I am concerned, if
you and @mattyb149 don't think the validating issue is a big deal or tied to
this I'm ok with merging.
