Martin Wiesner resolved OPENNLP-1645.
-------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: (was: 2.5.1)
Resolution: Not A Problem
The issue is *not* a problem any more, as Maven Central (and mvnrepository.com)
now displays each model artifact in a manner, that is easily understandable by
users.
For reference, see:
*
[Sentence-Detector|https://search.maven.org/search?q=opennlp%20models%20sentdetect]
* [Tokenization|https://search.maven.org/search?q=opennlp%20models%20tokenizer]
* [POS Tagging|https://search.maven.org/search?q=opennlp%20models%20pos]
and pick and explorer one or more language codes.
> Add specific Maven description for each model type and language

> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Models
> Affects Versions: 2.5.0

> Priority: Minor
>
> Atm, OpenNLP Model artifacts lack a specific description. This results in
> generic description texts being shown in Maven Central or mvnrepository.com,
> which is inherited from the parent pom.xml.
> It would be beneficial for the community (devs + user) to have a more
> specific short description text to clarify: "model type" and target
> "language".
> Affected:
> _opennlp-model_ releases +1.0+ and +1.1+
